"Hummingbird Haven"
Louisville, CO

Silver Winner: ALCC Elite Award for Sustainability 2025

Hummingbird Haven in Louisville replaced 4,500 sq. ft. of lawn with native, drought-tolerant plants, eliminating chemical inputs. A cobblestone swale reuses gutter water, while composting and recycling diverted 60,000 pounds of waste. Reused boulders, drip irrigation, and cedar mulch boost soil health and biodiversity, blending formal and natural aesthetics for a resilient, pollinator-friendly sanctuary.

This project won Silver in the ALCC's Sustainability category in 2025!
