Words From
Our  Clients

Aside from building lasting landscapes, we are honored to build lasting relationships along the way. Here are testimonials from from our wonderful clients to give you insight on how it is to work with us.

Scott S. | Arvada, CO

We moved to a 5.5 acre property in northwest Arvada about a year ago. Much of the land is foothills scrub and is fine on its own. However, the area around the house was uncared for and full of Russian thistle and sumac. We called it the "ugly hill". The phenomenal Jody Ash and her came out and reimagined and replanted the hill with a variety of pollinator and hummingbird friendly plants, elderberry bushes, cherry shrubs, and buffalo grass. We are amazed at the two day transformation and look forward to watching it grow.

Definitely recommend Wild Heritage and Jody Ash. Worked with her for the past several months creating a landscaping design for a challenging public neighborhood project. Her design is fresh, innovative, colorful, and encompasses everything we asked for. She's an enthusiastic gardener and, important to us, sources locally grown, organic plants, customized soil enrichment that work for our tough conditions and designs for long-term success. She's also really easy to work with - patient, flexible, ethical, and generous with her time. A+.

Wild Heritage was easy to work with, had friendly staff, great ideas, and were flexible along the way. They came back frequently to check in on the landscaping and make adjustments if needed, like improving the watering plan or relocating/adding plants. Everything they planted is growing in vigorously. We get compliments on the garden beds whenever people come over. We are pleased and recommend them!

Wild Heritage just finished landscaping our front yard. Interacting with the owner, Jody, and any employee was a pleasure. Jody is very knowledgeable and was able to come up with a good planting plan for our north-facing home. Landscapers made sure that the work area was cleaned before leaving each day. The project was completed in reasonable time and the result was magnificent. Any problem was dealt with quickly and professionally. We have received compliments from neighbors, friends and passersby. I would recommend Wild Heritage to anyone.

Have been hiring landscapers for HOA’s since ‘82.

Our old ranch house, built 1900/homesteaded 1864, we always did ourselves but as we aged it got away from us becoming an overgrown urban jungle. Jerrica and her Crew came and beautified it in one day. How delightful an experience! Everyone was just a pleasure and although it took multiple trailer loads ~ we got our yards back. I can’t recommend Wild Heritage Gardens enough.

I hired Wild Heritage Gardens to landscape our backyard this summer after they did a wonderful job landscaping our front yard last year. I wanted to remove all of the lawn and replace it with pollinator friendly perennials. Jody came up with a beautiful design that features a meandering path, varying levels and textures. She and I worked together to choose perennials, trees and shrubs that would attract wildlife to our garden and would be easy for me to maintain. I could not be happier with my garden. Plants were selected to bloom throughout the season, and I had hundreds of bees, ladybugs, and butterflies spring through fall. Even though it was a new garden, the hummingbirds found us, and the garden has been a haven for various songbirds. Jody is passionate about gardening and the team at Wild Heritage is always friendly, polite and very hard working. I'm glad I went with Wild Heritage!

I have been thrilled with our experience working with Jody and the Wild Heritage team. During the initial consultation, Jody walked around the property with me to discuss our objectives. She understood what was most important to us (e.g., low maintenance, low water plants) and created a landscape design that exactly met our needs. Her team rapidly completed all the work from tearing out the old overgrown plants to installing the new ones and adjusting the sprinkler system. They even came by the house to check on the landscaping during the early snows this fall. Everyone I've met from the team has been courteous, respectful, friendly, and hard-working. Now I feel like my landscaping is one less thing to worry about. Very grateful to have found Wild Heritage!

We recently used Wild Heritage Gardens to replace our grass-and-shrub front yard with low-maintenance pollinator-friendly plants and a patio that doubles as a firebreak (something that’s been top of mind since the Marshall fire). From start to finish Jody and her team were wonderful to work with—they were highly knowledgeable, professional, communicative, and responsive, and took the time to make sure everything was designed and completed to a high standard. This project is something we’d been wanting to do for years, and it came out better than we could have imagined!

We had a lot of different goals for what’s a fairly small front yard with quite a bit of shade: we wanted an attractive design that would reduce water use and maintenance needs, support pollinators throughout the full growing season, create a firebreak near the house, have a nice space for our kids to enjoy, and add some edible plants/berries/herbs if possible. Wild Heritage went above and beyond in delivering on all of these criteria, and it’s a strong testament to their experience, passion, and deep knowledge of landscape design, sustainable planting, water management, and construction.

Our new front yard has quickly become a favorite place for our whole family to spend time, and our kids love running around the path, sitting on the rocks, watching bumblebees and ladybugs, and admiring each new flower that blooms. Our 6-year-old son now asks to go outside with us every night to read on the patio and is beyond excited to pick strawberries, gooseberries, honey-berries, and cherries as the plants grow and mature. And thanks to the high-quality soil, customized drip irrigation system, and detailed instructions Wild Heritage provided, the plants are already growing like crazy just a few short weeks after being planted. We’ve already gotten tons of compliments from our neighbors (both on our street and some that have been driving by), and we can’t wait to see how our garden grows and changes over the coming years. We would highly recommend Wild Heritage Gardens to anyone considering this (or any) kind of landscaping project!
